What makes it more interesting is the rowing setting, which feels fresher than another series about basketball, football or cheerleading.
Teagan also finds herself caught between two competitive rivals: Josh Regis, the arrogant team captain, and Cam Dillinger, a quieter and more determined local athlete. That sounds like the beginning of a romantic triangle, although the show may have more interesting ideas about ambition and class.
