Episode 1:
Maddie, an eccentric British woman, shows up unannounced at posh British bachelor Thomas' mansion, declaring herself his new roommate. Thomas is appalled by Maddie's wild behavior and tries unsuccessfully to get rid of her. After much pestering, he agrees to consider her for the room.
Episode 2:
Maddie insists on pursuing a sexual relationship with Lewis despite discovering he's married. Thomas tries unsuccessfully to convince her to end things. Maddie lies about Lewis getting divorced to continue the affair. Eventually Thomas exposes that Lewis is sleeping with multiple women.
Episode 3:
Maddie meets with Thomas' estranged aunt Deidre, who guilt trips her into donating to Deidre's charity for disadvantaged children. Despite Thomas' skepticism, Maddie falls for the ruse and gives Deidre money from Thomas' account behind his back.
Episode 4:
Maddie convinces Thomas to take her heartbroken friend Sara on a pretend date to boost Sara's confidence after a breakup. Despite rules against romance, Thomas ends up sleeping with Sara, angering Maddie. She reveals it was part of her scheme all along for Sara to rebound with Thomas.
Episode 5:
Maddie playfully accuses her friend Thomas of finding her unattractive, prompting an argument about their true feelings. They agree to have an adult debate about becoming a couple. Thomas resists at first to protect their friendship but then ardently declares his love for Maddie after she argues they're meant to be.
Episode 6:
After returning from a trip to Ireland, Thomas tells Maddie about his new girlfriend Lisa. Maddie points out their incompatibility, so a reluctant Thomas breaks up with Lisa over the phone. However, Maddie has a change of heart and sets up another date between them, convincing Thomas that Lisa is ideal for him after all.
