  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (penne or rigatoni)

  • 1 large onion, diced

  • 1 green bell pepper, diced

  • 1 red bell pepper, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

  2. Cook the Pasta: Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  3. Prepare the Meat and Vegetables: In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat. Add onions, bell peppers, and garlic; sauté until softened.

  4. Season and Simmer: Stir in Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

  5. Create the Sauce: Add beef broth and heavy cream. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.

  6. Assemble the Casserole: In the prepared baking dish, combine cooked pasta with the beef and vegetable mixture. Mix well. Sprinkle cheese evenly over the top.

  7. Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and the cheese is melted and golden brown.

  8. Serve: Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy!

Tips for Success:

  • Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting.
